This includes playing loud music, banging doors shut, disposing of waste carelessly, letting dogs bark, letting children play ball games in communal areas.

What you can do about Anti-Social Behaviour!

Speak to the person causing the problem to try resolve the matter peacefully.

  • Explain to them how it makes you feel
  • Do this only if you can keep calm and rational
  • do not get involved in an argument as this can make matters worse

Keep a diary of incidents

It is important that you keep a written record of any anti-social behaviour.

Include in your diary;

  • Make a seperate entry for each incident
  • date and time the incidents
  • detail what happened
  • who caused the problem
  • hos this affected you
  • whether you notified the police and if so the police indicent or crime number

Photographs, video or audio evidence can also be helpful if any investigations need to be made.
